Re: Just HOW are folk going to get to the new rail station?
What's the problem? It will probably never open in my life time. Unless there are lots of trains every day at popular times then it's not going to get many customers. The whole thing is massive, it's a station built for a major city. The only reason to build it so big is the fact that the bigger it ...

Re: Ear Wax Removal
I was in BeWell yesterday for my regular check-up so I asked about ear wax removal. The doctor had a special camera connected to her phone and showed me the inside of my ears which were both completely wax free. The whole process took about 30 seconds and cost nothing.

Re: R.I.P. Bobby Charlton
I agree that Bobby Moore was a very good player but he might not have been playing for England if the Munich air crash had not happened. Duncan Edwards would certainly have been captain. As well as Duncan Edwards, England also lost Rodger Byrne, Eddie Colman, Mark Jones, Johnny Berry, Tommy Taylor a...

R.I.P. Bobby Charlton
It is sad to see that Bobby Charlton has passed, but he had a good (and sometimes lucky (1958)) life. I watched him when he made his debut for Manchester United and many times after that. He was a very elegant player. Although he made many mistakes (losing the ball after a bad pass, trying to dribbl...

I don't see Deli 88 mentioned very often. They do quite a good English breakfast with fried bread if required.

Re: Locations that serve a "good" Amercian / English breakfast.
I was brought up on HP baked beans. Nany used ti stock them but I've not seen them there for a few months. Branson (which I do like) are the cheapest there (about 69 Baht) and Heinz (which are a little sweet for me) cost around 120 Baht. The most common baked beans in Thailand (and used in many brea...

In praise of a hamburger
Although I do not eat many hamburgers, there is one in Hua Hin that I find extra special. I have just eaten one today and I still have the delicious taste in my mouth. I am talking about the "Danish Trucker Burger" at the Little Mermaid in Soi 94. It is served on a very nice grain bun. It ...

Re: Current Sunday Roast availability
As far as Andreanus roast is concerned. The meat is perfect the rest is served up in buffet form in large containers which means the content quickly gets cold and no longer tastes fresh.

Re: Current Sunday Roast availability
A real crumble contains only apple (or rhubarb, etc.) and crumble. It does not have any pastry round it. It is NOT a pie with apple in it and crumble on top. I like to taste the apple and the crumble but find a pie crust spoils the taste!

Re: Current Sunday Roast availability
I have tried all the Sunday Roasts in Hua Hin that I am aware of. For me Gary is the best. I always eat Sunday Roast at the earliest time when I know everything is fresh (usually 12:00). The meat, Yorkshire puddings and roast potatoes are always perfect. He serves it with 6 vegetables including roas...
