as long as I have been in Thai I have heard British guys 'threaten' --f the pound drops any further I am going to back my bag and go back to the UK--- Does this ever happen, anybody know any guy who did that because of the Ex-rate.?? I wonder if it has stopped anyone from retiring to here as well, ...

Tell them why you are leaving and go. they wont sue, you will probably lose your deposit...could be worse, you could own the house and then you would lose a lot more.

I have no probs with my thai expat tv since they upgraded the system last year, I am on3bb as well...interesting sidenote I watch it thru my laptop ,with a cable to my tv. When I went back to Australia a few months ago, I could still access it through my laptop, which was great, I didn't miss out on...

Do they just write what ever they want on flyers?? prices from 1000bht to 1800bht....I don't see any courses advertised at 1000bht and 2 advertised at 2400bht???

The problem for the oz farmers is, coles and woollies the two biggest supermarkets are selling milk for less than they pay for it. It draws customers into the stores and they make money on other grocery items. Therefore the other retailers don't want to buy from the dairy farmers, they can literally...

Drive around the areas you want to live, hundreds of empty houses in moo baans, also enquire about water supply, some houses haven't had running water for weeks.
