Re: Buying online from Lazada

It could be that Lazada are trying to boost sales by just sending random stuff they think you might need. I know it's a common mistake thinking that Lazada is a big shop. Lazada is only a platform. They don't sell anything. Products are sold by individual sellers. It tells you which shop you are bu...

Re: Buying online from Lazada

It's never happened to me or my family in the years of dealing. Was it delivered COD or had the item already been paid for? Lazada have always been very good with returns so I'm sure it'll not cause a problem. Mistakes happen.

Re: Vaccines - Covid 19

Re: Firewalls, etc.

I looked at a comparison between Defender and Avast. Of course you have to weigh the advantages and disadvantages of both pieces of software. It does appear that Defender falls short in some areas. Taking the whole analysis, it does appear that you are far better protected using Avast. I noticed tha...

Re: Firewalls, etc.

I've used Avast Premium Security and Avast Cleanup Premium for a couple of years or more and I'm very pleased with it, especially the 'Cleanup' which cleans your registry, gets rid of junk, optimises the system to 100% etc etc.

Re: Renewing a US passport.

I didn't know you could do the immigration procedure by mail. I renew my passport via KeyVisa who provides an excellent service. You only need to leave the house once to EMS the package at the post office. KeyVisa does the rest including the Embassy verification letter and you receive the new passpo...

They've had more than a year to plan for vaccines. Throughout last year, we were being so thankful that we live in Thailand. Roles reversed, now it's better to be in the UK!

The law changed (not debating whether rightly or wrongly), and she needs to wear it properly at all times.
Yes, I realise that. I was just making a comparison.

Re: Coronavirus (Covid-19) News

Poor girl is having problems with her mask. I wonder if she'll be fined  The other guy always used to take off his mask and explained that he doesn't need it as he's distanced from other people. What happened to that logic which is understood by the experts. TIT. I notice that in general, thi...

You're right, BB. Take out the prisons and you have 2,052 which is what we've been getting 'normally'. The inclusion of the prisons do give a shocking number, but probably a 'false' high.
