Re: sky sports sexism

I do rather get the impression they wanted him out. First, they released a 2nd vid of him making comments about the same lino with another reporter and he's warned about his conduct. Then today, more footage with him making 'innuendo' with a female colleague who blanks him, so he's sacked! http://ne...

Re: sky sports sexism

Oh the irony - Andy Gray complaining about someone not knowing the laws of the game!

Sexism, racism et al, we have more 'ism's than anyone. However, if the comments had been about her colour, they would have been sacked, so I guess its okay to have a pop at women? :?

Pete, I wasn't kidding with Esarn, though I guess its to reflect the pronounciation? Possibly the oldest established and best(?) Thai restaurant in London - most are crap - is Esarn Kheaw. http://www.esarnkheaw.com/ab_esarn.html http://sticky-rice.com/esarn_people_of_northeast_thailand.html http://w...

Re: Premier League 2010-2011

Everton - what is the point of them? They can't topple the poo when they are at their lowest, from a city of 2 clubs (well, on one side of the Mersey at least). So they are still the support to the reds brassiere, which is drooping in any case. They have Moyes, whose personality = depression. As a t...

Re: F.A. Cup 2010-11

Well it was a great game to watch! Nasri started as Arsenal capitan and is an excellent player, I enjoy watching him play. It wouldn't be a surprise if Leeds got back amongst the big boys next year, but a tough division to get out of - good luck to them. Hey BaaBaa, with Babel on his way out, maybe ...

Re: GBP vs THB

I listened to an 'expert' on the radio on my way home saying its in line with what is expected, and if anything, a bit lower! All down to fuel and food seemingly and not expected to rise much higher before falling - seems to be doing as planned/anticipated!? :?

Re: Thailand - A New Colour Revolution coming?

By the by, which members of the Bin Laden family? They are a rather large crowd and stonking rich. So what? It only takes one member to manage their investments and the company is hardly likely to admit to any significant investments by the Bin Laden's, after the events of 9-11. If they are stonkin...

Re: Thailand - A New Colour Revolution coming?

The thing is Steve is that the actions of the reds, and especially the dread screecher Wife of Weng who is now the "Dear Leader" come straight out of old Chairman Mao's little red playbook. Re-education camps, indoctrination of schoolkids, cynical media manipulation through black propogan...

Re: Thailand - A New Colour Revolution coming?

I always thought that the Yellows were first to form a group (yellow representing ......... out of allegiance to, not formerly backed by) and the Reds were a copy cat, obviously backed by Mr T (not the A Team) "some" saying they were anti establishment. Merely to settle scores. Actually, ...

Re: Thailand - A New Colour Revolution coming?

Mr.P, does that response provide an answer to my question? Simple enough question I would have thought, not sure why it can't get a straight answer?
