Re: Fire at closed Dinosaur Park in Bangkok

I'll try and find out what is going to happen to the area the Dinosaur Park is located in. The original plan was for it to be the third part of 'EmDistrict', along with Emporium and Emquartier, owned by The Mall group, which sit either side of Phrom Phong BTS, just the other side of the park.

You should get down to immigration and declare your new address as soon as you can. It will probably be useful to have some evidence to take with you, even one of your hosts, if a Thai.

Maybe the Govt. is trying to boost sales of domestic wine by heavily taxing imports or are domestics up also? I don't drink, jut curious.
Thai produced wine had it's tax reduced by 25% but they can't even come close to meeting demand.

Re: Thailand's imported wine crackdown

It's a strange one, isn't it, because if you get the levy wrong and imports drop, as seems to be the case, then it has the opposite effect to increasing revenue.

Re: Shark Attack - Had Sai Noi

The article states he moved to Sri Nakharin Hospital at Khon Kaen University because the costs were getting excessive - I guess he's known about insurance not paying out for a while. Damn, if I'd known that, I could have visited him for a Hua Hin Forum exclusive! From Friday through to yesterday I ...

Re: New House without a pool?

Second, was the resale value. If you want to get top return on your investment, when it is time to move on, then you have to offer a premium product to attract the right level of buyer. I have to say that plunge pools, which nearly all are, do not interest me at all. Where I live there are tons of ...

I agree with this and not just in Bkk. That's a big change in just a short period of time.
