Its a little more then i was paying in rent for a single room in soi 86 so i'm happy enough. I'm also happy in knowing if we ever split she could m...

^ Your correct about the entrance fee, however, when me and a friend went there last week, there was a big argument with the staff and a couple of europeans with regard to the fee.... so we just slipped in behind them

Re: What visa to manage a beach wear shop in Hua Hin?
I also realise though that it can be very hard for newbies to Thailand to believe the scams which go on there. We can all be too trusting at times, even with fellow expats. And we all know fellow expats who have been screwed or worse. Even in peaceful little HuaHin. And please believe what people h...

English children in the Thai school system.
Hi, A friend of mine has been working in a private primary school in Phuket these last few weeks, theres 3 or 4 100% English kids there, whose parents live & work on the island. I'v been told there writing is like that of a 6 year old in an English school (there all between 9 - 11 years old). An...

Re: What visa to manage a beach wear shop in Hua Hin?
^ Best advice i think. I really hope your dad hasn't disposed of any Aussie assets to do business in the Land of Smirks. I also wonder about this 'friend', maybe its actually 20,000 Bahts p/m (which is still more then what some bars make), i'm not trying to be funny, i just don't know of any (sole t...

Re: Indian Restaurants
So, after walking past it almost every day for 9 months, i decided to give the Indian at the top of soi 80 a try. I thought...it was ok! Maybe i expected too much after reading all the reviews of it on here. I thought the sides were better then the main Chicken Tikka. It was only me and a friend in ...
