Re: rough idea of electricity costs ?

MD and MK are a tag team with MD being the fairer of the pair. She is the one who initiated the thread with apparent excitement and anticipation about their upcoming holiday. It's a happy time for them and I think she/they have enough info now. Let us know MD after it's over what the bottom line wa...

Re: rough idea of electricity costs ?

Wow some holiday your coming on. You spend thousands on getting here and back home then you want to spend time monitoring your electricity consumption and tinkering with a pool control system. I have no idea where you got the idea I wanted to a) monitor my electricity consumption or b) tinker with ...

Re: rough idea of electricity costs ?

oh no, that's great if the pool pump thingy is automatic, I don't even know what it is, let alone how many hours a day it should be on.

Re: rough idea of electricity costs ?

Oakdale, yes, all rooms have fans so I'll definitely use them. Pagey, this whole airbnb thing is new to me. In the past staying in hotels (hang my head in shame) I basically used the aircon shamelessly, would put it on at 22ish in the early morning and that was it for the whole day till we went to b...

Thank you dtaai-maai. I think I will go ahead and book the villa we actually preferred. We can always keep an eye on the leccy meter to check we're not going overboard.

rough idea of electricity costs ?

You folks were a great help with our holiday earlier this year, so hoping you can do the same again. But be warned, this might be the most "how long is a piece of string" question ever asked  . Apologies in advance. Here goes.... We're looking at villas to rent via airbnb. Many (if not most) o...

Re: HomePro / Thai Watsadu

just wanted to thank everyone who helped me, I went to HomePro, GlobalHouse, Index Living Mall and Thai Watsadu. Enjoyed them all and got loads of nice bits n bobs. I managed to fill 1 suitcase and 2 boxes with housey things, mostly from Index. And could have carried on but the cc and the baggage al...

Re: Pies in Hua Hin

I tried Anna's yesterday, mostly because most places were closed. I've certainly had worse pies in Hua Hin. Can't remember ever sitting at a restaurant table with so little foot and leg room. yes they are really weird tables. You can't push or slide backwards in the seat, but the seats do swivel to...
