Re: Our Car Memories
I always thought the opposite; I would have been happy to own one car forever and not deal with all the hassles of buying a car and paying exorbitant insurance rates. A car was just a means of transportation and I never had any feelings, other than annoyance about the expense of the upkeep, about t...

Re: Electric Cars
I remember, years ago, a group of people built a 2 seater with solar panels on the roof and drove across the US. It's taken until now, for a large company with lots of money, to incorporate that design into a practical vehicle. I suppose the next step would be to make a passenger vehicle with the s...

^^You clearly didn't watch the Spurs game this evening, you're way too cheerful... :( :banghead: Fans in the stadium for the first time in ages and Spurs managed to get booed off. I only watched the 5 minutes of BBC’s MOTD highlights and that was too long - Spurs were as bad as I can remember seein...

Re: Coronavirus Precautions/News/Updates for Hua Hin/Prachuap
Islands like Phuket or Koh Samui are a lot easier to “ring-fence” and keep out only those that are approved, whereas inland locations like Hua Hin are almost impossible to isolate - even with barbed wire military checkpoints they’d still never secure the place completely!! Re: Coronavirus Precautions/News/Updates for Hua Hin/Prachuap
So the plan is to vaccinate Hua Hin to enable tourists to visit. https://www.bangkokpost.com/thailand/general/2117315/mass-jabs-eyed-in-hua-hin-ahead-of-tourism-return Should this happen will the powers that be include the large non-Thai population of the area. No mention made in the article howeve...

Re: Premier League 2020-21
Yes, Cavani is 34, yet he puts in a full shift every game. I don't want to be dragged into this discussion. I think I might have mentioned my feelings about Captain Harry before. I've watched him play many times and have never seen what the rest of the nation see. At best, I've seen him have an ave...

Re: Premier League 2020-21
Well Cavani is 34 so even though he’s a good player, by far, his best years are behind him. Not only is Kane up there with Salah vying as top goal scorer this year, he high up with the number of assists. In fact this year he’s been criticised for playing too deep to help the team out. He’s been top ...
