Re: Visa 90 day report

20k or 2k?

2,000 baht is the standard fine - 20k is theft!

Re: Renewing a British passport

Is this info still accurate? My sons passport is out in a couple of months, do I have to put his passport in the post to Hong Kong? Is it safe to send passports by mail? How do you make the payment?

Re: The Digital Surgery

Try navigating to that folder and deleting the contents, they're temp files from IE and should be cleared out every now and then. Outlook maybe trying to reference something on the web from a previous email.

Great article, I've always maintained that those that voted for King Thaksin to return should reap what they have sown - unfortunately we all have to reap it.

Re: Snorkeling trip to Koh Singto, Koh Tao and Koh Nok

I have heard that there is an island off Prachuab town with a small reef, haven't been there though so can't confirm it.

Koh Talu and neighbouring islands are your best bet, here are some pics of the marine life there: http://www.bangsaphanguide.com/forum/vi ... p?f=3&t=79

Re: What Mobile Phone.....

Can one of you phone gurus recommend a handset in the 4-5k price range that will do all the regular stuff: phone/sms/email/edge/gprs/mp3/calendar/alarm (doesnt need cameras, games, gps, constantly updating software, and all of that other shite).
