For new grand total of 400,000 ...

Re: Thailand Immigration: TM30 24 hour reporting thread

We are being asked to scan documents such as passports, house title deeds and identity cards and upload them to a Thai Immigration website, how secure is the website and what protection do we have should the website be hacked and our identity details stolen. All of which, they already have copies o...

Re: Tourists murdered on Koh Tao

One can only hope for a Royal commutation of the death sentence, then returned to Myanmar to finish (life) sentence, if lucky, but half of that has to be served here.

Very sad situation for those 2.

Re: Thailand Immigration: TM30 24 hour reporting thread

The 'Gardener' example makes no sense, as the landlord is responsible and fined, not her. Something missing from that story about TM30s.

Re: Thailand Immigration: TM30 24 hour reporting thread

Then we have the do-gooders(not referring to you, but some of the comments posted in the Bangkok Post),saying but, but, but we are guests . The most ridiculous comment from any visitor. I've said many times here that by no stretch of the imagination are we guests. Guests are invited. We are not. Wo...

That's the 2 big ones, that keep me in Thailand. The wife, and owning our house, well, next one. Basically means living here re...

Re: Lawyer for will / US connection?

Guessing you already know, Thai courts can't judicate USA law. 2 separate wills are needed, and one for Thai assets must be in Thai script. It's actually quite an easy process and can do yourself, with two witness signatures (notarized), and filing fee, for registration at Amphur office. Same with U...
