Re: Vaccines - Covid 19

There's a warning ,by the health ministry, that people with certain allergies should not have the vaccine and if you have one or more of those allergies, see you doctor about whether or not you should have the vaccine. I suppose there's a list somewhere. I guess this is from our highly qualified 'H...

Re: Documentaries

Just started watching it today. Got to say that I'm not as addicted as yourself. I will watch it through.
What strikes me is what kind of guy hires a film crew to make a documentary in REAL TIME from his indictment through his trial. Does seem a little weird.

Re: TV series worth watching/downloading

I've enjoyed the series from the beginning. Was a bit peed off with season 6. I thought I'd save it and watch the whole season without having to wait a week between episodes. Did a marathon at the beginning of the week only to find out at the end of episode 6 that there's an EPISODE 7. So have had t...

Re: Tips for recycling and reducing plastic use in Thailand

There's a movie, 'Bagman' 2018. Not watched it yet but the plot:

"A man with a bag for a mask kills people for not recycling."

Re: Vaccines - Covid 19

I don't believe one word that comes out of this guy's mouth.
I thought the government had already committed to NOT giving sinovac to the over 60's because of concerns.

Re: British Food

There has been a British outcry on social media after a US chain claimed to have invented a new summer snack that looks suspiciously like a sausage roll. Supermarket Trader Joe's has called it the "Puff Dog". Los Angeles-based lifestyle website Hello Giggles said it was "genius"...

Re: Vaccines - Covid 19

I can't understand anyone objecting to AZ Among more than 20 million people who have been vaccinated with the AstraZeneca vaccine in the UK so far, 79 cases of rare blood clots with low platelets have been reported, as well as 19 deaths, said the UK’s Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Ag...

Re: Documentaries

I assume you're referring to the 2004 series relating the story of the murder trial of Michael Peterson.

I'm very into courtroom 'dramas', fictional or otherwise. I'll watch some later today. I have it on HDPrime.

Thanks for that

Re: Coronavirus Precautions/News/Updates for Hua Hin/Prachuap

I tend to agree. Since HH became a 'hot spot', people have stopped coming here. I've already commented on the traffic situation last weekend. Petchkasem traffic was far less than an average weekday in 'normal' times. Hua Na to Makro in super quick time in the middle of a weekend.

Re: Coronavirus Precautions/News/Updates for Hua Hin/Prachuap

Under the new scheme, PKK have improved their position. We were in what is now 'deep red' and now just 'red'. We were just red according to the diagram for 17 April. When did we change to dark red? Dark Red is in the new colour coding. Prior to that There was just Red and Orange. The Red zones were...

Re: Thailand tourist slump continues

Not always it seems:
Phoomkit Raktae-ngam, president of the Phuket Tourist Association, said the Sandbox plan had been hindered by the government's decision to divert vaccines destined for the island to other, worse-hit areas.
Which is why they're asking!

Re: Thailand tourist slump continues

Only yesterday, Prayut quashed hospital plans to buy vaccines privately. I don't see that Phuket's Chamber of Commerce will be treated any differently. “The government has informed the Thai Chamber of Commerce that it has sourced enough vaccines to meet the requirement of every citizens, therefore t...

Re: Coronavirus Precautions/News/Updates for Hua Hin/Prachuap

I don't think any restrictions have been given an end date. The phrases - "at least until....." and "the situation will be reviewed on ......". They will only end after one of these reviews decide it and as BB says, over and above that, provincial governors can issue further miti...
