Re: 2020 F1 News and Prediction Tournament
VS was chasing me one year, I think 4 or 5 years ago. Sorry VS but you you did not succed. :D  I remember it well - thought I was on for a win there :( . You've just reminded me of a classic Frankie Howerd quote when he was referring to one of the pretty Pompeii ladies: "...so c...

Re: 2020 F1 News and Prediction Tournament
I've sent Parahandy out shopping and I'm hoping he'll pick up something (other than beer) so that his mind will be a bit blurred for next weekend. I quite fancy second spot on the podium, but I'll settle for third. That was a fabulous race to watch last night and I was really rooting for George, but...

Re: 2020 F1 News and Prediction Tournament
I thought all the F1 teams were in a 'bubble'. I think it's actually good news that he won't be racing as it gives others a chance for that top step. Did I hear that George Russell may be given a drive in the super team? It'll be interesting to see what he's capable of in a very capable car. Oops! ...

Re: 2020 F1 News and Prediction Tournament
For a small fee (payable only in Bitcoins) I can torture Mr.VS to give me his thoughts for picks for the next Grand Prix (bamboo shoots?). Just send me a PM. I can then climb onto the roof and sever our fibre optic cable, and hide his phone in a place where he'll never find it (possibly in the tea t...

Re: 2020 F1 News and Prediction Tournament
Botherations!! I messed up this week as I thought sensitive Albon would be a bit wary after his crash during pre-qualifying. But I like the young man, and hope that this has secured his place with Red Bull for next year as he certainly has talent. Really disappointing for Perez as he has a huge amou...

Really? I don't want to sound like a convent girl (which I certainly aren't, as I'm an agnostic), but I can't for the life of me think of an alternative. Maybe it's a man thing...Dannie Boy wrote: ↑Fri Nov 13, 2020 9:11 amThat’s the polite version!!Vital Spark wrote:Like a dog with two tails...

Re: Pet hates
Agree DM - it's so that they can double the price.
Recent pet hates:
'floor' instead of 'ground'
'myself' instead of 'I or me'. For example: "Myself and my wife went out to dinner"/ "He gave it to myself" Grrrr...

So, who'll win the U.S. election?
Maybe the one with the biggest erection?
Though that's likely a "no contest"
They're both on a quest

Re: 2020 F1 News and Prediction Tournament
Don't worry, PH, they always come in handy. ;) To be honest, this year is predictably boring. The same old, same old winning the top spots. Although I pick the 'same olds' for the game, I'm hoping that one of the also rans get on the podium. The upside to this strange year is that we're visiting som...

Re: TV series worth watching/downloading
I don't know if anyone has mentioned this before but this is certainly worth a try: Schitts Creek It's deservedly won numerous awards and is just fun. It reminds me of the comedies in the 70s - predictable, but good humour and a good laugh. It's also incredibly addictive when you get to know the cha...
