Re: Premier League 2021-22

Well they’ve got one more and should have had more. I think it’s more a case of Arsenal playing bad rather than City playing well - but against 10 men it’s been too easy Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk All I have to say is well done England for their brilliant victory against India with one and ...

Kata, well that put me in my place, but to me it`s as exciting as synchronized swimming, lots of skill involved no9 doubt.

Re: Premier League 2021-22

Not sure where to put this. I`ve been watching ITV4`s showing of First division matches in the 70s, the pitches were awful, mostly mud in the centre circle and goal area and frozen mud in the cold weather. Compared to today`s game the football was very slow with players seeming to have plenty of tim...

Re: The Rugby Thread

Does anyone else remember the Willy-John McBride story of when he captained the Lions in SA. They were getting no protection from the local referees against the Springboks fouls play so he devised a plan, at his given signal all the Lions players would sucker punch the nearest Springbok, he said it ...

Re: Euro 2020

What is the new law when the ball hits the ref please? First time I've seen it applied. All I can find applicable since 2019 is: "A drop ball will now be awarded if a ball strikes a referee and falls in possession of the opposition side, or if the ball strikes the referee and ends up in the ba...

Just watching the Scotland Czech game. As a patriotic Brit I wish Scotland all the good fortune the Scots bestow upon England when we play.

Re: The Rugby Thread

This a just a question as I have no prior knowledge but, did the inclusion of top South African players affect the results of the Premiership when British players were involved in the Six Nations?
