What a great article. I hope all of you read that as it gives an insight to the Thai culture written by someone who also understands western culture. Thanks for the link, JD. Yes, it is a great article. However, although I agree with him that it is in-bred over centuries, it also displays what I se...

They have been banned in a couple of places because of a hazard to aircraft. Chiang Mai and Khon Khan have been quoted. Not sure that they are a problem in Hua Hin.

They have moved to Soi 6. The last time that I went there they were just not interested in walk-in customers.Makro was pretty much reserved for my infrequent visits to invadeIT which is right across the street.
The owner works in Bangkok most of the week, and the rest of them do not have a clue!

Re: Hua Hin Vintage Car Parade "Greeting The Gasby"
When you've finished with the car park, there is a side entrance to the hotel to see the rest of the display. They run a courtesy golf cart shuttle from the car park to the hotel. If you ask at the hotel reception they should have a "program", which they will give you. Last year on Saturd...

Re: The Rat Race That Went Terribly Wrong
Hundreds of those big things were released by the "breeders" at the time. I am surprised that there is not a plague of them by now. I know a Farang that used to eat them where he lived in the central plains. But they were small rats that lived in the rice paddy. Cannot recall what he said ...

Re: SIM card with a years validity.

I have had the same one for around 10 years, and each tome that I top it up it reports valid for 1 year. The same when I registered ...

I suppose that the next thing will be that they are now made in China.
