Re: Fan repair

On the corner of Soi 80, opposite the Indian. Very small place, but did a good job for us. Cheap as well.

Re: Grumpy old men in restaurants..

Sitting near the Kebab shop in MV the other day, I saw one customer demanding more meat (I tend to get too much, rather than too little). His tone was aggressive and objectionable. The staff should have shoved him on the spike. More meat is an option when ordering a kebab there - my son has used th...

Re: ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK Movies at Hua Hin Cinema

There are NO original soundtrack movies at Hua Hin cinema again this week This upsets me as I was looking forward to Maleficent. As stated last week, I will contact head office later today. If there any others out there who feel likewise, then the more who contact them, the more chance of them taki...

Re: The Bat Cave Ratchaburi

Thanks for the replies guys. Unfortunately we were out having a good time before they arrived. We did find it, the very hard way - it seems that everybody we stopped to ask knew exactly where it was (how lucky was that? :D ). It was fantastic. Will tell more in my trip report, which I'll hopefully s...

Re: Map of activity locations in Hau Hin area

Have a look towards the bottom of the screen at 'Travel and Maps'.

Also if you look within various threads, we have recently updated maps of bars and restaurants in the busier areas (Binthablock, Soi 80, Soi 94 and Khao Takiab).

Re: How safe is it to drink mixed cocktails with ICE

Boboman, ice is very cheap to buy from the various 'safe' vendors around the town. The cost of actually making their own 'dodgy' ice would probably be much more than buying it in. You will see motorcycles and side cars driving around town quite regularly with water dripping from the large white sack...

Bang Saphan is meant to be quite good - have a look on our sister site http://www.bangsaphanguide.com/ . If you don't find the answers, feel free to ask there.

The Bat Cave Ratchaburi

I will be travelling through Ratchaburi late this afternoon, and after enjoying the bats a Cha-Am so much the other week, I thought I'd call in. Problem is I can't find out exactly where to go to watch them. Does anybody know where they fly from please? GPS coordinates would be brilliant, but failin...

Re: ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK Movies at Hua Hin Cinema

It seems highly unlikely. In the last 2 years I've only known them to switch from Thai to Original Soundtrack on 2 occasions.

Re: UK passport renewal has not arrived

One of the reasons I got out of the Civil Service. Job numbers were being cut beyond what was practical. Interestingly, my old post had to be filled a couple of months after they released me. Somebody actually realised that I had been doing a job after all :?

Re: The Digital Surgery

When I got my laptop back after repair recently, I couldn't get anything 'video' to work. Java script wasn't turned on.
