Work permit and Thai drivers license

I have read a few threads about licenses, but I want to confirm a belief. If I have a work permit do I still need the trip to immigration, and if I do what will I need to do while I am there?

Re: Clean Hua Hin's Beaches Movement

I walk on the beach 3 or 4 afternoonsa week for an hour. I start at the inter-continental and walk either north to town or south to KT. I always carry a grocery bag on Mondays as there is usually many plastic bottles etc on the beach but generally it is very clean and ALL of the oil has gone. What ...

Re: Dental Crown for a child

If a back baby tooth is removed too soon i.e. they usually fall out between 10/12 years then the first permanent molar will moved forward causing the permanent teeth that are still to erupt to be crowded. A few years ago it was good practice to place a preformed stainless steel crown over the defec...

Re: Why do you drink Chang beer?

i think Arch is really horrible. But as i used to drink Chang beforethey changed it, perhaps my opinion doesn't count 555. My test of a beer that tastes good is to taste it when it is not freezing cold, and Arch tastes gross like that (even worse than Chang) These days I tend to drink Leo (Chang in ...

Re: Dental Crown for a child

Thanks everyone. The tooth is a baby tooth, which I thought would be no problem to remove, but I'm not a dentist either.

#Dundrillin# I will post a picture when they get back from Sisaket. is it normal to have a crown at such a young age?

Re: Dental Crown for a child

Not sure about the cost, but I can certainly recommend the dentist located a few meters before soi 6, on your left if heading north. Her place is located between the PTT filling station and soi 6. I've recommended her to several people and they have all been very pleased. Thank you very mu...

Re: Da Vinci international school Hua Hin

Yet another OVER PRICED so called International School - just a business really. Nobody will achieve OXBRIDGE - probably because the teachers never reached that standard themselves. I wonder how many Oxbridge graduates work in Thailand. However, you are entitled to your opinion, so enjoy your day. ...

Re: Da Vinci international school Hua Hin

The school is now up and running. The website is still under development, but far improved. The fees have also been adjusted (scholarships for the first students which are locked in), and the first phase has been completed; so it has all the necessary buildings for kindergarten and primary classes. ...

Re: New outdoor food courts on 88 and 94

A bit late but yes the music is back. i would just like to say that I think the food court is the best place to eat food in Hua Hin. It may not be the cheapest or the best, and it may not have the best live music or parking. However, the overall meal is brilliant. i actually think it is the best pla...

Re: DTAC superdeal....too good to be true????

But you have to consider if you really need 40GB and 600 mins. I use the Smartphone mainly at home or some other place with WIFI and then I also make calls with LINE or Messenger. So I dont spend more than 50 Baht/month on my dtac SIm-card. My misses often gets close to the limit of her current 400...
