Re: Culture and Morals - Thailand vs Japan

I am married to a Japanese woman for almost 27 years now. You cannot compare the japanese people/society to Thailand. My wife says that living in Japan is like having a mental rubber band twisted all the time. "You do this/you do not that". The codex is very strict and if you do not follow...

Re: Not 1 student wore a helmet.

Did the taxes go down in California when that law came into effect? I would rather my taxes go to the citizens of the US rather than overseas to Egypt, Israel, Pakistan and many other countries. I would like to see these continuous wars stopped. I would like to see the politicians do a better job r...

Re: Not 1 student wore a helmet.

All states allowed slavery at one time. The number of states allowing or disallowing something has very little to do with its moral properties or being "right". It's about priorities. Most states prioritize safety over freedom these days. Personally, I'll take freedom over forced-safety a...

Re: Reformatting my 'C' drive

Depending on your actual setup, a proper reformat of the c-drive will erase everything including Windows it self and then you have to reinstall Windows from the begining. What I have done on my Pc's it to have all software on my c-drive and all related data on my d-drive. But in order to advise you ...

Re: Visa run crackdown; 3 strikes and you are out

Prcscct, you are probably right. Just like in Western EU where there are a lot of concern about cheap labour from eastern Europe. Very likely the same worries. But the Thai government should step carefully, there are many illegal Thais working in other countries - it might backfire.

Re: Need network savvy guy

Re: Buying new PCX model - First time purchase

Bought a new PCX in the beginning of April. The dealer will take care of the number plate, green book and insurance for the first year. Nothing to worry about there. Let me see what happens after the first free year of insurance. Then I will see which way to go. At the purchase I asked for a Givi ca...
