Re: Thai junta sets firm date for election

I don't know that it will make any difference should it actually come to pass.

Re: Police corruption, drug tested in Hua Hin

Re: UK and Thailand to hold joint military excercise

That the two countries are going to put together a joint exercise, especially a meaningful one, in this short of a time period is really a joke.

Re: Thailand tourist slump continues

Only just discovered this thread! Are you a regular visitor to Thailand? I don't think tourists are put off by passport control delays if the rest of their experience is wonderful. And these staff all around the world are often surly, in USA they are appalling, UAE also most of them just seem arrog...

Re: Should I take a taxi to the airport early morning

Any taxi recommendations or guess on the price? there must be somebody who knows the price and can give suggestions for a driver? And yes, he said they need to get to the airport at 9.00 a.m. I gave up trying to make suggestions because somebody always knows better on this subject. Amen brother! No...

^ BB, you live about a mile from Baan Khun Por and you "suffer". I gotta tell you that is a whole lot different from living across the street from a party house. Indeed, it is not even close.

Cheers!

Re: New Petrol Station Soi 94

The operators on 94 are usually 10 Bt higher /liter and you will NEVER get a smile. You WILL get petrol spilled all over everything as they whip the nozzle out of the tank.
