Re: Hua Hin Hospital Vs Bangkok Hospital

^ That is certainly a good idea only now you have a preexisting condition and you might now find it hard to get the cover you need. Indeed, you may be told that you are covered but claims may have another idea.

Re: Hua Hin bus station relocating?

I had to go to MV this morning so I swung through the bus station and the VIP ticket window was shut down. It's a pain in the arse for me but I'll live.

^ BB, to you really think you are going to get an authoritative answer to that question here? We have all ready had one who says it goes to the staff and another who says it does not. Indeed, they might both be correct depending on the place of business.

Jeez . . . .

I'm sure they do. The question was might they also have a booking office/desk at the bus station where it use to be?
If you don't know just say so - or please say nothing.

Re: Hua Hin bus station relocating?

And I would guess that one would also have to go out to the new location to make a booking or any chance they will continue to have a desk at the bus station as they do now? Anyone shed any light on this?

Yes, I am aware that bookings can be done online but not something I choose to do.

Re: The BBC & Jonathan Head v Thai legal system

Did not the Thai Supreme Court rule against the 30-30-30 leasing just a year or so back? I think they even ruled the first 30 year lease was no good because the other two had been tacked on and thus voided the whole thing. I believe they did but I'll have to Google it up again as i don't recall the ...

Re: Setting a property sales price

^ what you paid in the past has no bearing on what a buyer today might be willing to pay. Indeed, in your scenario 5M might be too much. 4M might be too much as well.

Real estate here makes no sense to me and I would not wanna own any and don't.

Re: Why do some farang not wear motorcycle helmets?

Some people do not wear helmets because they are idiots no matter where they might be. I have only had two motorcycle accidents and both times my helmet has saved my life. Thailand is no different. Geezer I apologise but I can't let this go unpunished. You have fallen off your motorbike not once bu...

When the SP closed down a month or so ago Jack/John/Paul went up to BKK and never left the country. He has FA and a doggy passport and is looking for a free handout wherever he can get it. And yes, he was involved up to his ears. The fellow from South Africa who was going to start the "Humping ...

Re: Pizza in Hua Hin

Thick crust I think is American style and nothing like what a real pizza should be - started in Sicily and then to USA where the immigrants settled. . 555 Pizza can only be done in one way or one style or else it is not "real pizza"? I'm pretty sure I have tried to enjoy it in many parts ...
