Re: Premier League 2023-24
I agree with the Forest request, and it has been done before. Whilst they're at it, can they release the one about Grealish as well? There was an interesting article in The Times yesterday about VAR. Peter Scudamore, ex in charge of the premier league, and Peter Walton, ex premier referee, both seem...

Re: Premier League 2023-24
To be honest, I think Howard Webb has got a lot to answer for here. We are nearing the end of the season and there has been no improvement in the application of VAR throughout the season. On the same day Coventry got a pen for a handball, that was virtually identical to the one denied in the Forest ...

Re: Football (not Premier League)
Some of us have experienced success before and after a sugar daddy. I'm just happy with continued success! Having been on the flip side too often.

Re: Old Photos of Hua Hin 1960s
I missed this when it was first posted, and found it interesting enough that I thought I'd share. Enjoy! https://www.huahintoday.com/local-news/charming-old-photos-take-you-back-to-khao-takiab-beach-in-the-1960s/ There's actually been a few threads on here over the years that show old Hua Hin. Mayb...

Re: How can Thailand curb its appalling road fatality rate?
Traffic police (sitting in their little huts changing traffic lights) are members of the local constabulary, specially trained in traffic law (sarcasm) and with a white armband on their otherwise usual uniforms. That made me smile and brought back memories. When I lived in Korat, the police would e...

If only 'Cov' had turned up in the 1st half!
United were so poor. And so lucky.

Re: Electric Vehicles (EV) Thread
Germany records a 29% year on year drop in new EV sales.
I think unless something is done to tackle cost, EV sales will continue to drop across Europe and beyond.

Re: Restaurant at the end /start of road 112
Does anyone know the name of the restaurant located at the junction / roundabout at the end of soi 112 when coming down 112 from Thap Tai and can recommend the place? Not far away is what I think is a Sansri apartment building. I have never been to this restaurant as the location IMO is a bit too e...

Re: Premier League 2023-24
I watched the YouTube highlights of the Chelsea game this morning and what struck me as both funny and sad was the group of Chelsea players almost coming to blows over who was going to take the penalty - what a disgrace!! That was extremely annoying to witness and so childish. But it was good to se...

Re: Bangkok Hospital Development Work
Oh good, from the front end of the hospital, you don't see that. I've been to the main entrance 3 times in the last week, and did wonder what would happen to parking cars. Thank you, that clears that mystery up. I was there twice myself. When they started on what is now an 'interim' car park, I tho...

Re: Bangkok Hospital Development Work
They have created a new car park on the empty land at the back, which has now been sealed, painted etc. They have buggys to take you to and from the main hospital. I am sure they will provide enough parking for when the new building opens.

Re: Can you help identify the Buddha image style?
All very interesting. And having quickly read up on this and that the centre of Gandharan Buddhism was much further to the North and West, encompassing India and Afghanistan, is how such an image came to be in Phetchaburi in the first place?

Re: Turkish restaurant in Hua Hin
Yes, a Turkish restaurant would be a good addition. I used to use one such place in Waterloo, London, called Taz, it became so popular they morphed into a small chain. I just checked and its still going. A menu like thiis would be very welcome! https://tasrestaurants.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2023/05...
