I'm amazed they haven't found a way to tax prostitution yet here. :)
Just as with property tax, the elite, being the ones most affected, would object! :D

Re: Premier League 2017-2018

Man C win 7-2 and Guardiola is a happy manager, Man U draw 0-0 and Mourinho is a happy manager. Whose fans are the happiest? To be fair, they're probably all happier than Arsenal fans. Unless they're Chelsea fans! :( Our recruitment in the summer only really replaced like for like and not...

Re: Cambodia clamps down on expat visas

Then that should be the problem of the country they're earning in, not the one they're spending in. That's an interesting statement. If physically working in, let's say Thailand, there is an argument that it is the work they are undertaking in Thailand that earns them money, not from where the inco...

Peace was shattered that evening as the noisy weekend warriors started to arrive. . I honestly think that if this is another barren season for the spuds, that the team will break up.

It defies all logic that the busiest area in front of the Hilton isn't included in the exclusion zone.

Re: Hua Hin's Finest (police in Hua Hin)

I suspect it's the Thai's themselves away from the tourist zones who see the true colours of the Thai Police. There has to be a reason why reform of the Police is always high on the average Thais agenda, when polled. Near where I used to live in Korat, the Police were forever stopping bikes and taki...

Re: Smoking ban on Hua Hin and Thai beaches, jail time for offenders

I'm a non-smoker, but as a stand alone exercise it's a waste of space, energy and time. When you consider all the food vendors that wander up and down selling prawns or whatever on plastic trays that end up as rubbish and I have seen whole families sitting on a mat on the beach get up and leave all ...

We rather fancy doing our train trip again in reverse, with an adjusted route here and there. We enjoyed the last one so much.
Take a train from London to Cape Town, via Cairo! Always fancied that myself.

There's a big difference between covering a story and "being all over it".

Nope!! Kane in Bale in :D I can't see Harry leaving for a long time....... Media stirring shite in my opinion. I honestly think that if this is another barren season for the spuds, that the team will break up. Some of these players are getting to their prime - its scary how good Kane can become - a...

I was in the UK when her big brother fled over here. Nobody in the media cared; why would they?
So was I. I'd suggest you do a google search to find out which UK papers didn't cover it and pretty much every UK paper or media outlet covered Yingluck fleeing as well.

I wish we would be there to enjoy what looks to be a fabulous meal. We will be returning to Hua Hin in 4 weeks time, maybe the menu will be repeated while we are there.

John
The Sunday roast is a regular and very good. It's a nice place.
