Re: Recognised paedophile bar owner

More fool you actually. Not defending him at all. I got started because a query was raised as to why he was allowed to travel and then learning that the register Sally was referring to isn't anything of the sort. As for the guy being a paedophile, we simply don't know based on the information that i...

Re: Recognised paedophile bar owner

I would never want a paedophile near a child of mine with a spent or unspent conviction. If there was any untruth on the site it would be taken down https://theukdatabase.com//?s=andrew+chester&search=Go I would never protect a paedophile. It is the lowest form of life. If you protect that form of ...

Re: New Hua Hin Immigration and passport office

Got the best answer yet; when the building is finished. And that'll be a while yet, judging by the one man and his dog I saw working there earlier! Do you know guy's, up in Korat, the expats would be envious of you, there's one office, in the Dan Kwian pottery village, about 30-minutes south from t...

Re: Recognised paedophile bar owner

Kendo, this isn't an official register. It's a privately run website, run by whoever and seemingly based on newspaper reports. I'm not saying it's not providing a service, but it needs to be treated with caution.

Re: New Hua Hin Immigration and passport office

For 'am' read 'aim'!

Good to hear they got good reviews! If I was here later in the week, I might have tried their fish and chips, but I'm not (as I found out earlier), so I won't!

Re: Recognised paedophile bar owner

So he was prosecuted in 2010 according to the uncredited report on this unofficial website, which now seems to be targeting the McCanns. According to this unknown source, he was ordered to be listed on the sex offenders register as well as receiving a prevention order, both to last for 5-years. That...

It's fine for the loads of developments around there! Much easier for me as well.

Nokyai must be referring to May's kitchen, I am to try that soon.

Re: Recognised paedophile bar owner

I think it's only the most serious sex offenders that are prevented from travelling from the UK. I think there's a real logistical issue here in being able to stop such people travelling. From my work experience, I've known people with arrest warrants outstanding to leave and re-enter the UK without...

What will happen at the fishing pier though? I noticed they have built a 'terminal' for the ferry there as well? Will that be for fair weather berthing?

Re: Beach Polo 2017

Thanks for this BB, I may have a wander along. I have fond memories of the odd Summer Sunday afternoon spent at Ham polo club with a nice picnic and a drink or two watching the rich boy's enjoy a few chukka's! Same, same, but different! :D

Don't know about prices, but Index's own range are usually reasonable. I would have thought Tesco's might be worth a try as well? Bluport sell them, but not cheap at all!

especially as most of the umbrellas have seen better days. A little bit of quality would be nice.
Not to mention the tables and chairs. It would be nice to find somewhere that's well looked after.

Re: Locations that serve a "good" Amercian / English breakfast.

There are variations of English breakfast all over, erm, England! I think the only three ingredients common to all would be egg, bacon and sausage. I've seen it served with laver bread in North Devon (obviously a Welsh connection there) and the wonderfully yummy Staffordshire oatcakes in Leek, which...

Re: Online Ordering - a sign of the times?

I just pay for goods from Lazada via my Kbank account. And I still use amazon for music, books (and kindle) although I recently learnt of Fortune Tower in Bkk as a good pace to buy music, especially vinyl.
