Those posts were from this time in 2017 - things change very quickly and very often with visas in this country so they're not really relevant anymore.

Governments hate it because they cant control or tax it. Many such as China, Indonesia and Vietnam are trying to completely ban it. Others such as Japan, Singapore and believe it or not Thailand are still open to crypto. The bubble definition is a strange one, yes markets fell by 40% in three weeks ...

Went to the Andaman Club with a pal last month. Spoke to immigration and they said 'more clampdowns, no visa runs'. They also mentioned a new requirement to show 20k in cash. This was specifically for those without visas that had the 30 day stamp. Since your visa and the extension is about to expire...
