They were not blacktips in that video, I've only ever seen them diving on the Andaman side - and they are quite rare there these days due to over fishing.

Of all the shark species there are, only a very small number are know to attack humans, and even then, they will typically be adult sharks, or at least adult-sized sharks, and when they do attack, you either die or you end up with some really serious injuries rather than only a few cuts/holes. Thailand has made it very clear that they don't want foreigners working here (unless they're from neighbouring countries which they can exploit).

Vietnam, Laos or Cambodia would be much more welcoming if she wants to be in Southeast Asia.
