Re: Language schools under Immigration investigation

Hardly hearsay when it came out of the mouth of and Immigration official who was present when the school bosses were called in. In fact, I heard more about this from another source. One that I consider 100% reliable.
Maybe bpak will comment?
It is difficult for me to make a comment a...

Re: Local Thais have no interest in learning English

Surely anyone who has been in this country for even a week or so knows that Thai women are for the most part, ambitious, smart and hard working. As for the men you don't need an education to become a m'bike taxi driver. Eventually ALL the responsible jobs will be held by women. just some som tam an...

Re: new cafe soi 102

Just had another excellent meal here. While I was sat there pondering, I looked at the 6 shop houses that are there and thought what a good place to live if I had no other responsibilities. - Get up in the morning. - Wander down and put in my laundry (Shop 2) - Have breakfast in the 99er. (Shop 5) ...

Re: Wine

thanks for the superfast reply GN.

I never thought about the duty free from departures - think I might tell her to pick up what she can from there first although I reckon she'll get through a few bottles in 3 weeks.... 3 long weeks - no, no, it will be great fun.

Re: best bar - spring 2013

I would suggest the bars opposite butterfly bar on Binterbhat which is towards the 7-11 end. They are the most lively bars and have the most girls and in my opinion the best looking. But if you want to take a girl home, check out the Cat bar as you can find a lot of the girls who dont get taken home...

Re: Have You Quit Smoking?

Was smoking 60 per day up till twonand a half years ago. Stopped with the help of chemist in the UK and by using Champix. Was amazed how quickly my carbon levels in my lungs went down to almost zero and the cash in my pocket went up by over £4000.00 in the first year. I still enjoy a little passive...
