Re: Buying a condo in Hua Hin Area
Another question: Are condos easy to let off while I am not there? I am hoping to use it for 3 months of the year and letting it off for 9 months. Personally I would not account for any rental income when costing for an apartment. So if you make a little to cover your yearly costs plus a bit then i...

OK, OK, which one of you rich Farangs is building a new house just along from Orchid Palm Homes? "Baan Prainsornprathan". What is it going to be? A Resort, a Hotel, a high class Brothel or just a statement? Yes it's very impressive. I understand it's a private dwelling/manor, maybe JW can...

Re: leak in PVC pipe
hhfarang
Is there not enough flex in the pipe so you can fit a jubilee clip around ? Using one of these will allow you to clamp and glue a patch piece on
Slightly more drastic is to drill, tap and plug the leak with a small screw glued or PTFE tape on the threads

Re: [ADVERTORIAL] Terrace 90 bakery and restaurant
Have to agree that Terrace 90 is doing great food, ate there last week and food was just great, excellent quality and very generous portions. T90 doesnt compete with Margaritos in my opinion - the 2 style are very different and both really enjoyable. Its somewhere I am aways happy to go and too be ...

Re: More demand for rental lodging in Hua Hin
We have noticed a few places considerd once too expensive to rent now being snapped up. I would say if your considering letting think of a price and double it as these are not normal renters and will turn up with a multitude of cars, bags and people and probably inflict heavy wear and tear over 1-3 ...

as for shortages, or water etc, imo, they are being a bit over hyped and certainly exaggerated, some big chains like Tesco are evidently suffering supply chain problems, but in absolute terms, taking account of local shops etc, I would be surprised if you really noticed. We had trouble getting wate...

Re: The iPhone thread
Thats why I opted for the new 11" MBA i7 best of both worlds, with W7 running of course :) I may have a go at the S2, just going through a BB phase after the Iphone 3gs/I4. I thought after the Galaxy Tab the playbook would be a bit of fun but it has not matured fast enough and you need a BB to ...

as it's all about available apps these days. In some respects it should be when these things cost more than most spend on a laptop, it should do something For those that have used smart phones for years you realise that there's probably no more than 10 apps that are used on a constant basis. Re: Modern House Design
Got to agree with SJ there. Here are the first six questions from Lifestyles design questionnaire. 1. What is the very essence of the home you can see in your mind and feel in your heart? 2. Who are the people who will live in the house, names and ages? 3. In a few words, describe yourselves. 4. If...
