Re: Adhesive Nasal Strips...

Coincidentally I just ordered a 6 month supply of strips from the US off ebay. Cost 48 cents each, including shipping. Lazada cost 73 cents each, not including shipping. No contest. Never tried in-nose device. I'd probably lose them.

Re: Best of the Rest of the World

Re: British home comfort food?

I was amused when living in the US. A new huge supermarket opened and they had all the items that have been mentioned here plus Birds Custard powder and Marmite. The amusing thing was that these items were in the "International Gourmet" section. US retailers long ago learned the 'gourmet' label les...

Re: Dirty municipal water

Ours comes via a ginormous tank, so the muck will settle at the bottom of the tank. However, I drove past a Soi 94 hotel yesterday when a bucket full of horrible grey water was thrown across in front of me. I parked outside that same hotel today, when bucket after bucket of grey water was being dis...

Re: British home comfort food?

Villa Market has Branston Pickle, though not necessarily in stock on the day you need it. It's one of the two British Commonwealth creations that have become part of my comfort food. Vegemite on buttered toast is the other.

So one person posted about volume and another (me) posted about extent. Please educate us why one is more important than the other.
