Re: Premier League 2023-24
Looking like another City title after their 2-0 win tonight. Although Arsenal could still win it, that would require City to get no more than a point at home against West Ham and for Arsenal to beat Everton - I’m sure they’ll both win and City will be Champions once more!!

Re: Flights to/from Hua Hin Airport & other domestic locations
^The other major problem is that Suvarnabhumi is comparatively near. It's hard to be successful with an airport that's only a three hour drive away from a large established one. But they cater for completely different markets so I’m sure that’s not the stumbling block. One of the biggest challenges...

Re: The 90 Day Report Thread
If you look back to February, I advised that my online submission was approved after 15 minutes - that’s clearly not the norm, but most of my online applications have been approved same day, although occasionally it has taken 2-3 days. If you live very close to an immigration office it’s probably no...

Re: Football (not Premier League)
Probably a case of nerves with nobody wanting to lose with so much at stake - hopefully the return fixture will be the opposite?

Re: TV series worth watching/downloading
I can remember years ago when it was a case of “there’s no such thing as a poor farmer” now it’s a case of “no rich farmers”!! Well, I know a couple (small scale of course) who don't earn what they used to through the whole EU BS, but believe me are far from poor. As for Clarkson's Farm... Not seen...

Re: TV series worth watching/downloading
I think this season of Clarkson's Farm is the best so far. He's really a farmer now, albeit not a great one. I really feel his heart is in it. I'm happy he makes money from TV because all small-scale farming is fraught with disaster. :) I can remember years ago when it was a case of “there’s no suc...

Re: Premier League 2023-24
After today’s results the relegation situation is virtually confirmed with Sheffield Utd, Burnley and Luton going down unless by some bizarre possibility that Forest lose their last game (against Burnley) and Luton beat Fulham by more than 12 goals - not even a drunken millionaire would waste too m...

Re: Tax residency in Thailand and taxing overseas income
Until last year, I had always been asked to submit a UK tax return by HMRC, but the year before last I managed to spend more than 6 months in the UK in a tax year, so rather than use one of the proprietary software companies to submit my tax return, I was able to do it using the online HMRC portal. ...

Re: BBC iPlayer
Yep, a bit of fettling and it works now. Will definitely be changing VPN when the subscription runs out in a couple of months. Fairly certain Nord still offer a 30 day free trial so probably worth taking it out early to check it over and if all good, cancel Express and continue with Nord at the app...

Re: BBC iPlayer
In the past I sometimes had to juggle between different browsers and normally used Firefox, Opera or Edge (in that order) and one of them would normally work, but occasionally none of them would so it was a case of taking it up with the Technical guys at ExpressVPN. Since moving over to Nord, I’ve n...

Re: Tax residency in Thailand and taxing overseas income
Are you saying that you’ve transferred more money to Thailand than your P60 says you’ve earned? If you haven’t then I don’t think it will be a problem.
