Re: Birds of Thailand

I’ve been trying to get a decent photo of some birds in our garden for the past few days and this is about the best I have managed because as soon as I get close, one or both fly off. What it is is the “mother” bird which is a Minah feeding its “baby” which as you can see is 2-3 times it’s size - s...

Re: 2018 Football World Cup News and Prediction Tournament

Surprised that I’m the first to comment about England’s win last night - not the greatest game but England were deserved winners on the balance of play and could have had a few more, including two legitimate penalties had the VAR guys been more honest, especially bearing in mind the one they gave Tu...

Re: British home comfort food?

Today, the main ingredients of Marmite are glutamic acid-rich yeast extract, with lesser quantities of sodium chloride, vegetable extract, spice extracts and celery extracts, although the precise composition is a trade secret. Although your quote is correct, it is only a brief extract of the full c...

Well, to be honest, Marmite is a gourmet food. :D :duck:

Now, before anyone slams Marmite, take a minute to Google the nutritional value of Marmite. You might be surprised.

I don’t know about nutrition, but for taste I’m in the “love it” category!!
