Re: Hua Hin Restaurant News

Well, that didn’t last long. Jalapeños is closing, per their post on FB this morning. Tomorrow is their last day in business. It’s a shame, because they had pretty damn good Mexican food. Owner cites lack of staff and inability to provide quality food that is expected, or something along those line...

For the most part, the only misery I encounter here comes from disgruntled Farang who live here, but who actually dislike all things Thai.

Agree 100% and unfortunately regularly post their constant Thai bashing on here :guns: :cuss: *

I've not been but according to FB there is a live band playing tonight, 8.30 -10.30 so must be open now.

Re: Plumber needed

A man the water company recommended arrived with some kind of electronic device that can listen/detect leaks under concrete, and with a jack-hammer. Sounds a man whose number is worth keeping. I understand why he's very busy. Could you share his details? If not would you just PM them to me please? ...

Re: Hua Hin live music scene

Pre covid I was a regular at Rock Zone before it moved to its current location. The band Thairish played several nights a week and were excellent. I have since seen them play at Coco 51 and The Pub but recently they seem to have disappeared. I don't go into town much these days but I wondered if an...

On Thai TV this morning scenes from near Grand Hotel where Grab drivers had been fighting with Motorcycle taxi riders. One camera close up showed a gun in the belt of one guy ! Confused Gr...

Re: Hua Hin live music scene

Popped into Calypso Bar on Sunday night for an hour after Rock Zone to see Crazy Bull Band. I was surprised to see a young but very competent red (dyed) headed guy on Bass so I presumed the regular guy was unavailable. Today I read the sad news on FB that the regular Bass player , Cha , has passed a...
