Re: Hua Hin live music scene

Popped into Calypso Bar on Sunday night for an hour after Rock Zone to see Crazy Bull Band. I was surprised to see a young but very competent red (dyed) headed guy on Bass so I presumed the regular guy was unavailable. Today I read the sad news on FB that the regular Bass player , Cha , has passed a...

Re: UK bank closing accounts for customers living in Thailand

Why not Ulster Bank at 5.2%(min 5000 balance)? Plus others are over 5% with no minimums Is this something to do with non UK residency (which you don't mention)? Thanks Sent from my M2007J20CG using Tapatalk Yes, I don't have a UK address so I cannot open UK bank accounts. Thank you for clarifying S...

"You will need a deposit of at least £100,000 (or currency equivalent) to save or invest with us. There is a requirement that funds must be with us within six months of account opening." Thats a lot of moolah to leave sitting in a bank earning jack shit and actually devaluing due to infla...

Re: Hua Hin live music scene

If allowed to post this check Sandy Beach on FB, he posts every day what bands are on in the area including Bintabaht area. Thanks for the updates, the idea is to post them here - not all of us use Farcebook! :thumb: They regularly change bands and venues, SB does the leg work, eg yesterday he post...

Re: Hua Hin live music scene

Went to Father Ted's last night to watch the 'Bangkok Beatles'. What a great band, these guys sounded superb and knew pretty much every song from the Fab Four. I've tweaked the title of this thread so we can use it to post updates on Hua Hin's live music scene. I know Cheers Bar often has bands on ...

Re: Ceramic/glass coating.

Sorry Pagey for the delay in replying, was it the Ceramic coating you recieved at Glossline? We're you happy with the job they done, thanks for any advice. The leaflet/ad is in Thai but I asked them via Line and they said it's glass coating, 12k - 20k depending on the size of the car. Personally I'...

Re: Ceramic/glass coating.

To add to above comment, I had a car on 'loan' for about a month which had been glass coated somewhere in BKK, I can't remember where but it had the companies sticker on the back windscreen. It was yellow but looked really good, shiny, just like glass ! Mine is white and it hasn't had the same effec...

Any information would be appreciated thanks I had mine done at Glossline on Pala U Road. I can't remember the cos...
