Re: The 90 Day Report Thread
I have now submitted a second application. I only now noticed that the arrival date in Thailand needs to be changed from the specified value. So I hope it works now.It appears that there is no connection between different databases where this information could be retrieved. Does that surprise anyone?

Re: The 90 Day Report Thread
Yesterday I submitted my 90 day report online for the umpteenth time and today I received an email: Your application for "STAYING LONGER THAN 90 DAYS" has been rejected. For first-time requests of a 90-day notification in each country visit, in-person presentation at the immigration office...

Re: Songkran 2024 Road Accidents
The death toll during Songkran or New Year is no higher than the average at other times of the year:
At least 20,000 people die on Thailand's roads every year, making them the ninth most dangerous in the world, according to research by the World Health Organisation (WHO).

Re: Flights to/from Thailand status, news, and updates
I arrived in Suvarnabhumi at 5:45pm on Tuesday and after quickly walking the 800m to immigration control, there were no queues at all. I had enough time to catch the bus to Hua Hin at 6:30pm, which had about 10 people on it.

You can view your cashback rewards on your Agoda website. You can also request the money there.

Re: Free expat national park passes
I made the registration for my son and his wife (they were just visiting me, not expats) for SAMROIYOD Park and they were able to get free entry upon showing their passport. It is important that it is only valid for 24 hours, then you will no longer be able to get a pass for the same park.

There is no train to Apiwat between 4:47 and 14:31, which isn't great for a trip to Bangkok.

Re: Flights to/from Thailand status, news, and updates
I arrived in Suvarnabhumi yesterday at 2:30pm and there was only a small queue at immigration. I went through the priority lane and was able to go straight to an officer. The bus to Hua Hin at 4pm was fully booked.

Re: Agoda hotel descriptions/prices warning
Sometimes there is a prize that is subject to cashback terms, which is a little annoying. If you use VPN you will get about the same price, sometimes even cheaper without cashback.

I wonder how they will check the 500,000 baht in the bank account. You could now withdraw the excess money and hoard it at home until you receive the 10,000 baht

Yes, but I wouldn't rely on it since it's 3 years old. I know that the minivan to Ekkamai changed the starting point to Blueport.

But the minivan station on Soi 51 no longer exists.
