Re: hair salon equipement wanted
They have more styling chairs upstairs (or did) if you ask them you can have a look. Alternatively Bkk, there is a large shop in the Makkasan area, from memory its on the corner of Patchaburi soi 31, if not it is very close to that area.

Re: hair salon equipement wanted
There are various salon supply shops around HH. Try the one at the bottom of soi 88. Cross the rail line coming out of town and take the right branch of 88 (NOT between the 2 7/11's) follow it to the sharp left bend as it turns up the hill and the shop is on the right, next to an internet games shop...

Re: fix-it man for Nespresso Coffee Machine
Pagey.
The place is called Coffee Coffee Hua Hin I think. Looking at the pack here I think the brand is Anjana.
It is located going out of town about 100m past Le Vallee housing project (if you know the area) on the same side. They have a big orange sign with coffee written on it.

Re: fix-it man for Nespresso Coffee Machine
I would try Hua Hin Coffee on the Pala u road, they sell and maintain loads of big machines, judging by the shop, not sure about that brand, but they are specialist for coffee machines. So at least will hopefully not F#$% it up! They also sell IMO the best coffee beans in Hua Hin, which is what make...

Re: where to buy a used LCD monitor
There are various Pawn shops around Hua Hin, but they are very hit and miss, the one next to the old Somtowain school (down town Opp. soi 51) used to have quite a bit of stuff like this, but I have not been there for some time.

Re: Outside running tracks in Huahin
The main running place is in the kings Palace it has a long track in the gardens for running in the evenings. Nabkehart road, is quite popular for running the the late afternoon, especially with Thais. It is relatively central, quiet on week days and flat and straight. The road up to Hin Lek Fai vie...

Re: Need a Thai restaurant recommendation!
I think the best Thai restaurant in Hua Hin is Baan Issara on Nabkehart road. Everyone has a different opinions and budgets, but this is top of my list. Also great setting as it is on the seafront.

This may be old news but I only discovered it the other day, Kasikorn bank cards can use the Yellow bank atms for free within the province. The two banks have a deal apparently.

I have been before and its a nice atmosphere, worth going, but your son should not be expecting a mosh pit, it is Save Hua Hin, after all, the customers all tend to be older.

Re: Bouncy Castle Hire
I have never hired one, or even tried, but I would start by asking the operators / owner's at the big daily markets if they would be willing to hire. The bigger markets along the canal road sometimes have them operating.

Did you buy the Kenwood in Hua Hin? Or Bangkok,
I would be interested to know the details.
Or if someone has brought another machine around here?
Thanks.

Another tip:
Do it before the movie as the desk closes before the last showing finishes.

Re: Car Park Tokens - Why?
No, you don't have to pay. If you take the parking token plus a receipt for a certain amount to the desk (3rd floor somewhere) they will validate it and you can stay longer e.g. a movie. The cinema tickets cost enough to get this from memory. Its a bit of a nuisance, and sometimes it is just better ...

Re: Parking at Suvarnabhumi Airport
Last time I used it long term parking was 150 tb a day. It is a short shuttle from the terminal, and the bus runs ever 5-10min, from directly opposite the car park, trip is probably 10min approx. Quick / clean / efficient. It is open air, no shade, but there is security guards on duty. I was happy (...
