Re: How a single Thai meal can give you liver cancer

Yes, village fish sauce, if not cooked, and rarely is, or used to be, carries the same hazard, liver flukes. Sakon Nakhon has their own version, snails from the fresh water lake, and warnings signs, education about and teaching policy in the area, but yet, where's the highest incidents of......SN. A...

Cheaper than trying to fight them, and nobody dies...........win win.

One man's 'freedom fighter', is another man's 'terrorist'. A Thai problem, solved the Thai way.

Re: Tourists warned of jellyfish on Trang, Krabi beaches

Always amazes me as to why we never hear of local fishermen being seriously stung/killed by these critters when you see so many of them in the water with their nets. Shh........if it's not in the Thai news, it never happened.......... http://www.udontalk.com/forum/images/smilies/emoticon-0127-lipss...

Re: Survey: Thailand 'among top 20 most dangerous countries' to visit

Here's one that surprised me..... missing Aussies. How many by choice ? or simply killed and never found.

"Australians were most likely to go missing in Indonesia — where 40 Aussies remain unaccounted for, then Thailand (39), the US (38) and the Philippines (32)"

Re: Global House

Got moved while typing Your experience is different than most of mine in Thailand when purchasing things, appliances / electronics, as they seem to double check most things, and even fill out the warranty card for me before leaving the store, or making sure it is in the packaging. Trust me, when I s...

Not something you want to put on a public forum, as authorities do read them.......may get #2 in a bit of a fix.

Re: Hua Hin International Jazz Festival 2017

I guess many haven't attended many or any of the festivals. The beach works fine, and was used a few times. Especially when Heiny was a sponsor. Attended the first 8, quite good actually, but they lost their luster when changed, to hotel venues with entrance fees. Though I see one thing has not chan...

Re: Legal status of illegal vehicle

There is the law, as in court ruling, then there is the 'police law', which you can accept, or refuse. Accept, and done and over with, you know the end result. Refuse, then the law, is enforced and ruled upon in a 'court of law'. UP2U which you prefer. Court of law takes a longer time, and maybe ver...

Out of town guy myself. As not neighbor friendly, and can be taken both ways, either you don't want me to be or me to have.

Land prices an added plus.
