Re: Speed Cameras
It would appear there are new cameras on the bridge Noth of Hua Hin hospital on both sides of Petchkasem Road. They look a little complex to be just for traffic control.

Re: Flights to/from Thailand status, news, and updates
Hi Just arrived back on an early flight Saturday, sailed through the airport, virtually empty. As for flight costs it would appear to be the pricing algorithm some use. The airline we flew with now only operates one flight per day as opposed to the 3 pre covid. The flights have been consistently ful...

Re: Moving to Malaysia?
Hi
When We were looking there was a system called something like Malaysia my second home. It did offer several tax breaks on things like first car purchase etc.

They are angled but on many of them if no one is parked in front you can drive through.

Re: Driving: why Thai’s “back in”?
It is a simple premise, it is far safer to drive forward into traffic flow than to reverse into it, even in low flow car parking if it is an option.

Re: (Don't) Wear a Mask Debate
With Big boy on this. I wear a mask in the malls and trains etc to make those around me feel safer no matter how misguided that may be. It is no problem to me either way.

Re: Thailand tourist slump continues
Hi all
We arrived back last Sunday, deplaning to having luggage less than 25 minutes. The staff even directing people to empty Thai passport only desks. Very easy and quick.

Re: Monkey sightings in Hua Hin Neighborhoods
They have always moved around, usually young males looking for a territory. The furthest north I have seen one was before covid on the sea wall of the Sheraton hotel, before being chased away by security.

Hi all
There was an accident at the exit from MV at the same time Salesian school run was on. School traffic backed up to the accident then people from MV trying to assist traffic from MV past the RTC.

Re: Flying to/from Thailand, latest updates
We arrived back on the 6th, plane to city hotel 1hr 20 mins, fastest ever. Airport was empty as was my flight. Mostly because almost everyone deplaned at Phuket. Everything felt more relaxed than our entry in November.
But hopefully it will end soon.
