Premier League Poll 2017-18

Before anyone is able to really know or feel anything, let's see how good we are at predicting. I've set the poll to be open for only 30 days. Good luck :thumb: Pete

Re: Weather in Hua Hin & Thailand

I've lost faith in weather forecasting here, no surprise I guess. Where I am is now in the 4th period over a 2 month time span where heavy rain was predicted only to get absolute zero. :banghead: It's as dry in my area of Rayong as it is at the height of the hot season. Oh well...maybe this next sto...

Wat Arun renovation finished

This is one monument in Thailand that has never failed to impress me over the years. I've visited it dozens of times and seen it in good, and very bad condition. As you'll see in the below article there is some controversy about the recently completed renovation which took 2-3 years, but I would thi...

Re: Dish Washers (Non-human)

^ Makes sense to me. Every suburban house I've seen though has all waste water pipes except toilets going into the trough flowing to the street trough. For anything but toilet to go into the septic some major re-piping I would think. Pete

Re: Dish Washers (Non-human)

RE: Kitchen waste disposal....I think Nereus's condo is hooked up to the Bangkok sewer system. Your house non-toilet drainage is more than likely hooked up to a concrete trough that runs into a larger trough, that probably then runs into the sea....or a slim chance I guess to whatever sewage treatme...

Re: Bringing Electronic cigarette to Thailand

Have you tried that in mouth liquid device that your wife uses? It could be a possibility if nothing else can help. Pete

Re: Dish Washers (Non-human)

^ ^ ^ Yes, of course. People on holiday perhaps don't have one at home, or say "who cares"? Since a kid in the west there has been one in my house and a given you rinse the heavy crud off first. Having said that, there well could be units now that have a grinding disposal built into the drain system...

Dish Washers (Non-human)

Are dishwashers becoming a common appliance in new build estate and condo build? I ask as 10 years ago when I built off plan in a development the question was answered with a look like I was from Mars. To retrofit I would need to do some major tearing out. It's not that big of a deal with us as only...

Re: rough idea of electricity costs ?

MD and MK are a tag team with MD being the fairer of the pair. She is the one who initiated the thread with apparent excitement and anticipation about their upcoming holiday. It's a happy time for them and I think she/they have enough info now. Let us know MD after it's over what the bottom line was...

Hello Naha. Are you from Okinawa? Tourist here or resident/potential resident?

Do you like digital books or the real thing, holding paper and pages in hand?

Welcome to the forum. Make good use of it as a wealth of information is available on here. Pete

Re: rough idea of electricity costs ?

Just an opinion....if the pool is on an automatic timer I suggest you leave it that way. Pool owners will adjust timers to reflect the time they know the system should run to keep the pool clean and it dispense chlorine from any automatic system they have that operates in conjunction with the pump r...
