Just a quick comment on this one. The requirement has been suspended since 2022, but only for people entering the country by air. It's still needed by people entering by land, or by sea. I wasn't aware of that second part. :cheers:

US Amazon works fine. Been using it for many years. As mentioned, estimated tax and duty charged at the source. If they over charge you get a refund in a few weeks. Never had them ask for more so maybe they absorb that if they make a mistake under charging. Edit: Have found less hassle if the buyer ...

I can't help unfortunately Pharvey. I've been back to the USA 5 times in 20 years, with the last time in 2019 just before Covid began. My advice is worthless concerning current prices and the like. If I see or hear something useful I'll post it up. :cheers:
