Re: Premier League 2017-2018

Perhaps Everton will be stronger if Moyes returns to the place he never should have left. He was a decent manager there for a long time. It's like a bible story of being tempted away from home (by the evil United  ) then destroyed and banished to the wilderness, in his case perhaps China? :al...

Re: The History of Southeast Asia

I haven't come to grips yet with the colour coded boxes and if they have some meaning that is not immediately obvious. The Phetchaburi colour I think was listed as Khmer Empire so an assumption could be that it was part of, but perhaps semi-autonomous? Pete

Re: Looking for channel grate (flooding)

Here's the Google link with the various categories. I think the "pool" plastic type my be the easiest to find simply as I can't recall seeing long/narrow metal types anywhere here. Re: Premier League 2017-2018

In my gut I'm feeling that next season is going to be about Spurs and Liverpool fighting it out, with the other four bouncing up and down amongst each other. No one new breaks into the top 6. We'll see........ Pete

Re: Absurd Thai laws list

There's one from long ago concerning boat accidents and throwing coconuts, the life saving device of the day. It goes something like if an important passenger falls into the water the assigned boat crew is to throw the coconut lifesaving device. If you miss the mark and the person in the wat...

The History of Southeast Asia

This one will give even history scholars a headache. Regardless, it's worth watching and perhaps merits additional research if anyone is so inclined. One point I find interesting is that there was a Kingdom or State named Phetchaburi starting around 795 AD and lasting until about 900 AD that...

Yes, below are the published stats for Australia. I forget sometimes that Australian Rules football is the largest and most popular spectator sport of all down-under it appears. I enjoy watching a good match when I can see one, which is very rare here. FOX has one sometimes. Pete  Screen Sho...

Water Dispensers fail tests

This isn't new. They've been bad since not long after they were introduced more than 20 years ago, as many are not maintained or cleaned properly. Use at your own risk. Pete  "Almost half of all coin-operated water vending machines nationwide are below standard with the water unsafe for gene...
