Re: Looking for an alternative to True

BB - Surely it is possible to pay True every 3,6 or 12 months and then you would not have to go to their office? Or have I missed the point that even if you have paid in advance they still put a threat close message on your screen?

I'm sure Key Visa provide an excellent service, but what guarantees do they give about securing the integrity of your passport? Thailand does, after all, have a reputation as a centre for passport and identity fraud.
For Gods Sake Caller the Key Visa service is excellent why knock it?

Re: British Passport renewal company in Hua Hin?

So how does KeyVisa do it. I've read many times of people using their services without having to visit BKK. Of course there is a fee but you save two trips to BKK and the hassle involved. Key Visa send their people to Bangkok twice which is included in theiir fee BHT5,000 ( I think) - they also obt...

Re: HD PRIME TV

I used to use HD Prime but always had issues buffering. The other streaming sites I used never had it to the same degree. I contacted them and the return answers were very quick so the fact they are not answering would worry me. In the end we couldn't prevent the buffering so I cancelled. May I ask...

Re: HD PRIME TV

I too use Bein for Football live - excellent. The problem is what I posted. I changed servers every 2/4 mins today watching the Ashes live. Yes every few minutes so hundreds of times from Asia through to Thai C and no fun. What really concerns me is the total lack of response from the owners/controll...

HD PRIME TV

I have used this service after the closing of EXPAT TV and it has been OK. This week the service has been terrible whether watching Sky Sports, Sky News and in particular the Cricket Ashes game on BT1 - the latter has the screen frozen about each 2/3 minutes. Some other stations cannot connect. I ha...

Re: Kite Surfer Dies Off Hua Hin Beach

As a non Kite Surfer who enjoys walking the Hua Hin Beach area I would suggest that the surfers move further south. The swimmers have no chance to avoid the surfers if they speed into the swimming areas, and all parties realise this. Good luck to all that use and enjoy this area, and RIP to the sur...

This is an impossible job for most users to do themselves. Surely there is a professional person or company that can do this configuration? Anybody know please?

404 - He is very good and has repaired with stitching shoes and new rubber soles etc. He does golf bags too, and zips for clothes. The business looks rather run down but is actually full of outstanding jobs. I honestly believe he has a small 'gold mine' going, and all family members. Back to your pu...

Re: The journey to a Yellow Book in Hua Hin

Whenever I have needed an ID I have produced my 5year Driving License and it has been accepted. After 11 years I have still not bothered to get a Yellow Book and never had a need for it either.
