Re: Rip Off Hua Hin
MDMK I find this forum useful and so do many of the members. A lot of people have had negative experiences here and in other countries. I got mugged in France and pick pocketed in Australia. Been burgled in England. I can assure you that I inform friends that visit and my customers of the potential ...

Re: Getting Searched Last Night by the Police.
I have a brilliant idea. Vote me for police commander and I will make sure the whole world is informed via social media, so they can get it on their phones instantly, exactly where all police checkpoints are at any given time. Google earth, twitter, Facebook etc. That way everybody from not wearing ...

Re: More power to my shower.
For individual or central water heaters we use Stiebel. Minimal extra cost and great service. Even the cheaper ones have a cut out.

Re: More power to my shower.
The clue is in the name "Rain shower" I have a very expensive one and have installed many by request of the clients I build for. Mine is no good for washing hair or making you feel refreshed. The handset is perfect and the fixed showers in the other bathrooms blast across the room. It is j...

Re: Rip Off Hua Hin
Thanks for that Deep Blue. I was not having a pop. I run a business here; 2 in fact and somebody doing a search for Hua Hin on the internet coming across one of the latest posts " Rip off Hua Hin" or " Rip off Thailand" does no business any good. Yes the national parks were going...

Re: Rip Off Hua Hin
Not been to the states for a while. Should I wish to buy a house there is there no room for negotiation? Do all lawyers charge the same hourly rate? Is there no shop or street trader In the United states where I could negotiate? No services where I could negotiate? Or are they all fixed price? Crazy...

Re: What is the best way of trying to rent our house long term
I work for an agency as marketing manager. I cannot give the name or PM it to you due to T&c's. Over the last 18 months we have pulled in more from social media and 3rd party sites than we have from our own. I would certainly advertise on here as the site has a large following and is a mine of i...

Re: Building a House
I have designed and supervised the build of numerous houses here. I have visited and watched literally thousands of others go up as I work in real estate. Employ an architect that will make regular visits. Scrutinise the plans with the architect as they will not include enough electric points or lig...

I will try it on one of the laptops after backing up. The desktop, however, will not process the password so I cannot get in to do anything.

Any Mac experts out there?
I have a couple of problems with my Mac computers. I have an Imac and a macbook pro. A few months ago they started telling me that certain programs were no longer supported. Photoshop and iPhoto which I use for work all the time and are genuine copies. After a bit of research I was advised to upgrad...

Re: Thailand's increasing intolerance of alcohol
Well football fans have been banned from drinking alcohol in the grounds for 28 years in the UK and I do not remember petrol stations selling beer. Large stores like Tesco, Makro you cannot buy a can of beer out of hours but you can buy 10 litres( Might be more) 7/11 I can have a beer at 11am but no...
