I think I need a border run?

Unfortunately I miscalculated my visa/ flight dates. I had a 60 day tourist visa and now have a 30 day extension, but I’m about 3 days short. In the olden days I would have taken a trip to Ranong, soaked in the hot spas and popped over to Burma on a long tailed boat. I would have stocked up on cheap...

Re: Bintabaat shut down at 12.15 by masked police!

Re: Travel insurance - check the small print..

Thanks for that, I was wondering what to when I finally retire. Either keep a place in the U.K. or a hotter European country as a bolt hole if I had major health problems

Re: Travel insurance - check the small print..

I guess that’s the difference between travel insurance and medical/health insurance. Now in the U.K, if you have been an ex pat you have to be beck for 6 months before you can access the NHS. But as waiting lists are now so long there, I guess it doesn’t matter.

If you believe there is any joined up thinking going on (TIT!) you could think they are pushing the girlie bars out to other areas and making Binta more family friendly. But joined up thinking and Thais is not usually put in the same sentence!
