Re: Baggage at airports: Is that your bag sir?

I remember watching somebody walking off with my bag at Glasgow Airport. I ran after them and said they had my bag. It turned out I was correct, but the other guy's bag was identical, and arrived on the carousel soon after. Smiles and apologies, but so easily done. Brave man to do that at Glasgow A...

Re: Hua Hin Immigration Move to top of Soi 88

Well that really clears things up, every one knows Jeffries RC model shop, dah. Sorry, didn't realise that you are RCer. That is who the post was directed to. Top of 88 was just the name given to the thread by the original OP, it is not an official designation. And that is supposed to make it corre...

What does "top of soi 88 mean?" I know its west of Phetkasem, but thats all.
To answer your question it is on the same road as Jefferies RC model shop. Past his shop, on the left, or East side of the road heading South from Pala-U road. There is a map in an earlier post on this thread.

Re: Hua Hin Immigration Move to top of Soi 88

Well, road # 3218 is the Pala-U road, so I would say it is more well known than Soi 88. The fact is, the building is NOT on Soi 88, top or bottom, it is just ONE way of getting there. It is also accessible from Soi 112, so is it just as correct to say "top of Soi 112"?

Re: Hua Hin Immigration Move to top of Soi 88

What does "top of soi 88 mean?" I know its west of Phetkasem, but thats all. Yes, I agree, it is ridiculous to name it such. It may well be the way some people use to get there, but the building is on Rural Road #1004, off of Road # 3218. :? And what decides where the "top" or otherwise is of any r...
