I entirely sympathise with the OP, you may well spend many thousands of baht and get nowhere (you are a foreigner so you are automatically guilty of whatever the BIB want) I have only been stopped by the BIB once for no motorcycle licence Now whilst I entirely disagree with bribery to BIB, what woul...

About 90 day reporting.
I seem to have at the back of my mind that some classes of aliens in UK have to report to police station every so often. I vaguely remember its something to do with what country they are from / type of visa. Anyone have any idea about this or am I imagining it ?

Ok now you've all had your spell at typical Hua Hin expat insults, try getting your heads out of your arses and think about what the point of the post was. You think I don't accept that bars have different prices and if you don't like the price don't go back ??? From your reactions you are obviously...

This argument has been going on for many years.
The reality is that the government simply does not wish to spend one penny more than it has to on pensioners living abroad who probably willl not be voting anyway.

Dodgy Bars

If the mods will allow it, maybe it might be interesting for posters to tell of dodgy
practices they have encountered at bars in HH. I'll kick off with

Mains tap water for teeth, washing, cooking etc.
Bottled water for drinking, except for making tea coffee as its been boiled. No problems at all.
Maybe because its mains water, not from tank ?
