Re: Power fluctuations - electric supply

In the U.S. the water tank and water heater are simply 1 integral unit and not separate. What makes you think that the heater is separate to the tank? It is an integral storage tank and heater element, just mounted horizontally. You may be referring to a system that has an oil fired boiler, storage...

Re: Power fluctuations - electric supply

It probably does not need pointing out, but then again:  The plumbing is entirely different if using a single storage tank hot water system. It needs to be either built that way during construction, or if later, the "Thai way" with all the piping exposed on the walls. :agree: And I'm not sure ...

Re: The bikers thread; trips, news, chat, all things motorcycle

I really hope this will make the HD bikes cheaper in Thailand. I have wanted one a long time already, but have felt that the prices doesn't justify me purchasing one. I really envy those from the States with the prices they have on cars and bikes over there. :agree: I would buy a HD to if the price...

I have seen that there is a new Harley-Davidson dealership on Vibhavadi Rangsit Road across from North Park in Bangkok. (near Don Mueang Airport)

Re: Power fluctuations - electric supply

So do you have a separate water pump and water tank? :? And could you provide a link to the system you are talking about because I looked at the Home Pro website and did not see anything like what you have mentioned in your post on the Home Pro website. We have just one pump, a standard Mitsubishi ...

Re: Power fluctuations - electric supply

I think Thailand needs to adopt the system that is used in the U.S. where you just have a single Hot Water Heater Tank that supplies hot and cold water throughout the entire house. I don't want to burst your bubble but this is not an idea unique to the U.S. :duck: Actually, we do have this system i...

I also have had to replace my Panasonic Shower Heater because the thermostat button( emergency heat shut off switch) on the top of the little boiler inside of the shower heater was malfunctioning and I was constantly having to reset it. I just replaced it with another el cheapo Panasonic Shower Heat...

As an overview......This is the result of 80 years of essentially military rule.
A population let down by the baboons in charge.
As I have said before, an Army is for the defense of a country....DEFINITELY NOT for running it.
Good luck people!

Re: Evening education for Thai adults.

I wish I could get my girlfriend to go to an Adult Education School, but I know she would never go because she is too shy and she would view it as a 'loss of face'. My girlfriend is so shy and to put it bluntly 'dumb' that she basically can not function anywhere outside of her tiny little village. T...

Re: Security window Bars

^ I don't believe that to be the case. We lived in a standalone home that we built there for 7 years without incident, while several homes in the gated development adjacent to my property were burglarized, some more than once. Many burglaries in developments are actually perpetrated by staff or sec...

Re: Legal status of illegal vehicle

There is the law, as in court ruling, then there is the 'police law', which you can accept, or refuse. Accept, and done and over with, you know the end result. Refuse, then the law, is enforced and ruled upon in a 'court of law'. UP2U which you prefer. Court of law takes a longer time, and maybe ve...

Re: ThaiExpatTV,ExPatPremiumTV & 365Sport Problems

I suppose most of us have enjoyed the service provided by Expat TV over the years. We were not duped into paying for hot air. We gladly paid for the additional channels! That doesn't make us suckers, does it? MB It does when the scammers that are operating these Expat TV, 365Sport, etc. streaming s...
