Re: Flying to/from Thailand, latest updates
Hi U/S - Blast from the past. I will be returning to HH in November, first return since Covid and illness since 2019! I had a hell of a job getting flight tickets from LHR or LGW. Problems booking on websites or huge price increases. Eventually managed a booking (within 3 days of original required d...

Re: Afternoon high tea..
Whoops
I was certain that we paid more than 300++ each, some time ago. Should have checked more thoroughly - sorry!
We usually stay at the Hyatt a couple of times a year and can thoroughly recommend McFarland House or, indeed, the hotel.
Cheers for now

I believe that Invacare has a distributor in Thailand. The Disty should be able to help.
See http://www.invacare.com/cgi-bin/imhqprd ... ge=English - good luck

Re: Buying Cigars in Hua Hin
Just to wrap up the topic, you can indeed obtain King Edward cigars at the supermarket just up from Hagi corner. Believe it or not I was unable to buy at London Heathrow. Thanks for those who offered help and tips. Now to enjoy some RnR in Hua Hin.

Re: Buying Cigars in Hua Hin
Hi Pete
Thanks.. I will be flying back from UK next weekend. Can always buy at LHR, but looking (as always) to save a few pounds/baht - especially with the crap exchange rate.

Re: Buying Cigars in Hua Hin
Thanks for the hint hhfarang. I've never been inside the Intercontinental - perhaps this will persuade me to do so!
I always think of grossly inflated prices for stuff bought inside a major hotel though.....

Buying Cigars in Hua Hin
Hi Guys, I don't post very frequently these days, but would appreciate some advice regarding availability and cost of King Edward Cigars - both Imperial and Coronets please. I will be back in HH in just under 2 weeks (Yes, U/S, I know it's less than 2 months since I came back to UK). Thanks for your...

Good on you for stepping in u/s. It is a crying shame that it seems to be going over the top - as does the actions of a few folk! My sympathies to all involved and I will forgive you if your mouth is too sore to kiss me  when I see you. Can't make any real constructive comments - just be...

Re: Mosquitos in Hua Hin
Mosquitos - hmm! nils - During the day I don't find them a problem, and the day ones are supposed to be the Dengue fever carriers. As soon as it gets dark the nighttime ones come out and start biting. We have just returned following 3 weeks at the Hilton. The lobby / reception and ground floor resta...

Re: Driver for airport transfer
Apologies mrco Unfortunately I have inadvertently sinned by providing details of inexpensive taxi transfer I did not mean to contravene any of Ts & CS. I had better not recommend any restaurants or properties, I suppose. [Admin clarification: details are fine, just no links - recommendations are...
