Re: Reporting new address

I notified my change of address at Bluport immigration office three weeks ago, just needed passport, entry/exit card and letter form property developer/owner stating the address at which I now reside.

Re: Tax Residency (bank requirements)

In Australia I have only been asked once about my Tax Residency and that was from my Stock Broker, one question, "Is Australia your country for Tax Residency?" end of story.

If you don't mind buying out of China I suggest that you look at https://www.aliexpress.com. This is the retail shopping section of AliBaba, sellers sell by individual items.

Re: The Peril of Bar or Restaurant Ownership

Thank you stumorelli. I personally am not contemplating "Bar Ownership" and your scenario is pretty much as I had imagined but was wondering in general terms the costs associated. One of my favorite past-times when indulging at a venue not visited before, is to review the whole scene and d...

Re: The Peril of Bar or Restaurant Ownership

So what does it cost to purchase the lease of a bar, monthly rent and other expenses regarding staff and services? What kind of returns per month can be expected with a few farang regulars?

I agree, if the request had been for the nearest massage shop would it have generated the same response?

Re: CR2025 car keyfob batteries

A CR2025 is a very standard battery for desk top computers along with CR2032, they keep the clock functioning when the PC is powered down, they are found on the motherboard. You should be able to get a quality battery from any PC repairer or accessory shop, rather than a cheap generic in bargain sho...

Re: Bangkok Bank Visa Debit

In Australia we have had the chip cards for many years, signature verification has not been used for almost as long. Approximately 2 years ago "Tap and Go" was introduced where all that was required for purchases up to A$100 was to wave your card over the top of the shop terminal, over A$1...

After watching recent news footage from the home of democracy, the USA and the way police treat you for a possible, simple traffic violation, I think I would rather try my luck in Thailand.
