Re: Need privates english lessons

I am still confused why you would reccomend a "Thai lady" as though it is a selling point; though there is a benefit if you need to translate from Thai to English . If you immerse your daughter in an English speaking environment, your daughter will speak English within 2 years. She is young and will...

Re: Knifeman Apprehended at Hua Hin Railway Station

I had a guy attack me in Uttaradit with 2 engine valves sharpened to points. He looked like Wolverine. I had my 2 kids with me, but he just took a dislike to us. Luckily after shoving him away on the first attack (he was out of his head so not too difficult) I had to take refuge with the boys in 7/1...

Hua Hin water supply disruptions?

It seems that we have no water being piped into our tank, so we have to get it filled. My wife tells me that there is a pipe broken somewhere and it is affecting Hua Hin and prachuap. Can anybody give me more details? This could get expensive, and i would like to know if anyone knows about it being ...

Re: TRIGGER FINGER and TENDONITIS

I have had tendonitis in my wrist for 6 weeks now. I hate it, but I have been told I can do nothing but rest it. That is very difficult when i work on a keyboard, and everything I do in life seems to involve my hands. Even using a running machine makes it worse. Nightmare, and I feel sorry for anybo...

Re: IPTV switch from True Visions

I have been looking at IlikeHD to see if I want to start using them again. I was happy watching football with them until I could no longer pay with PayPal. I notice that they have "TEST" written across a few of the channels. Does that mean they are having trouble getting these channels permenantly?

Re: The Kumon method of learning.

If you want a child who is good at arithmatic use Kumon. If you want a child who is good at mathematics don't. They do not develop problem solving skills, and that is , apparently, vital for the 21st century. Personally, I would vary how they learn. There are so many books, games, and websites that ...

Re: Pet Show, Market Village

I was a bit sad the last time I went to this, though I understand these businesses need to make money, I don't like to see animals in cages. The only saving grace for me would be to be able to buy a Staff (not an ASBT). That would make my life complete. A wife I love, 2 kids that are the stars in my...

Re: Looking for a babysitter in April

I could ask my wife. She has qualifications in child care from the Uk as well as having worked in a nursery in the Uk. Her English is great, and she loves kids. How many hours a day do you need, and how many days a week. She is already working as a nanny but I will ask if you let me know

Re: Looking for full time maid/nanny

When you say full time, do you mean 8 hours a day 5 days a week? Obviously, in Thailand full time could be anything up to 12 hours a day 7 days a week. My wife's details are in the post above. She may be interested perhaps you could PM me some details. I cannot PM you as the system does not allow me...

LA Bike is on the right a couple of hundred meters or so after the Esso station as you go north, before you get to the U-turn at Soi 68. The other bike shop is also on the right just after the Shell station on the left and the PTT station on the right. Thanks again. I went to LA but they had no sco...
