Re: Steamboat/Chinese fondue in Hua Hin

Eating huoguo in China My friends said--try the dark meat, so I did. Then I found I had misheard and it was Dogmeat. A nasty shock! I would have no objection to people eating dog if it's their culture, except for the overwhelming evidence of them being stolen in the streets in huge numbers to satis...

Re: Steamboat

MK Restaurants in Market Village, Bluport, etc., but it's not really a full-on steamboat/huoguo in my opinion. No spicy pot available and the menu items are quite sanitised (no lamb brain, chicken stomach , etc.). If you find a real chinese huoguo PLEASE post it on the forum or message me! Yes plea...

Re: The Beer Thread

In my 20's we drank beer mixed with tomato juice a lot. It was good for midday when you didn't want to get buzzed and seemed to be a good "hair of the dog" for hangovers. Bartenders made it; some called it a red beer and some a bloody beer. It was actually pretty good. I wouldn't do it to a good be...

Depending on where-abouts you live in town...If you go West over the Chomsin Rd rail crossing..past Gee-supermarket on your left..at the point where the main Rd goes to the right...aim straight ahead...& almost straight away on your left is a motorcycle repair shop...& right next to them sits a man...

That’s sad news been going there for probably 10 years now best Massiman curry I’ve ever had in Hua Hin 😅 Great Massaman at Angie's Bistro in Soi 80. My wife hardly ever eats anything else there, even though the food is great. The Penang Curry can be a heat monster unless you ask for it dialled down!

I just boil it for about 20 min or so until it gets flakey
Thanks, I'll definitely try it. It can't smell worse than the tripe I used to steam for our dog in the UK. :D

Re: The Digital Surgery

I made a quite long post this morning that I don't see on the forum, must have buggered it up. Basically you should be able to repair yourself without reinstalling Windows. I googled 'windows start button not working' and found lots of help. Yes back up everything first and don't forget your web bro...
