For the spook fans Red Eye is very watchable if not very believable. Plenty of action and MI5, CIA and Chinese spies.

I really enjoyed Sharp Objects. A reporter returns to her small home town to write about two murders there, and uncovers her troubled past, even more so than she ever could have expected.

I watched two and a bit episodes of Wreck. It seems quite 'young adult' to me. The writing is very poor and the characters cardboard cutouts.

I think this season of Clarkson's Farm is the best so far. He's really a farmer now, albeit not a great one. I really feel his heart is in it. I'm happy he makes money from TV because all small-scale farming is fraught with disaster.

I enjoyed The Red King. Very, very The Wicker Man.

This is a sad story and the tip of the iceberg. But nowhere in the article does it say that the girls were 'forced' to provide sexual services. Maybe too young to make their own informed choices and so lured into vice, is a better description based on what little information is given in the article.

I watched the first episode of The Regime. I would usually watch at least two episodes of a series before deciding if it's viewable, but didn't need to. It's leaden, crass and unfunny. Its writing is an insult to intelligence (I even enjoy Palm Royale for heaven's sake). Just a heads up.

I didn't warm to Shardlake until the second episode was well underway but the series was good I think, though I'm no usual watcher of the medieval detective genre. Sadly there's only me in my house as of last year. The function I like is the cardiovascular check, arterial monitoring, even can different between say a problem with right arm/leg over left, but I won't pay to have it imported!
