New Large Petrol Station Between Khao Tao and Pran Buri

There is a large petrol station being built on the right side of Phetkasem between Khao Tao. Looks like will have all the grades of petrol, not just gasohol.

Re: New Hua Hin Immigration and passport office

Do you know guy's, up in Korat, the expats would be envious of you, there's one office, in the Dan Kwian pottery village, about 30-minutes south from the centre of downtown Korat - that's for the whole province. That's a serious journey for some. Me, I guess I got lucky, I lived 20 minutes from the...

Re: New Hua Hin Immigration and passport office

Needed to go to Immigration today, so while there I asked if they know when the move will be.

Got the best answer yet; when the building is finished.

Re: Online Ordering - a sign of the times?

Without question I'm biased! But not emotional enough to let unsubstantiated observations get in the way of good business decisions! Believe me when I say don't feel bad for any REIT's. Do you purchase existing malls that are or already have failed, knock them down, and build something new? Or, bui...

RCer, not sure where you got your info about "US Malls have really been hit hard because of the internet...." Nothing could be further from the truth.
From witnessing major stores failing and personal experience with the horrible customer service.

I live to barter. Trouble is my Thai wife doesn't like it when I do that. :D

Re: Online Ordering - a sign of the times?

Thing to remember about the shops here vs the US. You are greeted when you walk in the door.

US malls have really been hit hard because of the internet and the lack of customer service. People figure its better to interact with a faceless person than deal with an attitude face to face.

Re: Thermometer

I think there should be an app already, since there are apps for your heart rate and blood pressure measuring. The heart rate monitor uses the light and light receiver on the phone near the camera. It pulses light through your skin and senses the return to get the speed of the pulse. I don't think ...

Re: Circular Runways

Okay, were's the STUPID button? Only possible way for this to work is for the plane to be 100% under computer control.

Humans can't make the fine adjustments necessary for landing fast enough on that runway.

Re: Immigration to introduce 90 day reporting online

90 day report at HH immigration today took 7 minutes exactly in at 09:08 out at 09:15, is this a record? On line would take even longer. My last one was walk, get a number, number called immediately, go to the counter, get stamped, and gone. Didn't time it, but it was fast. Probably 7 min or less.

Re: Locations that serve a "good" Amercian / English breakfast.

Notice the word "hotel" in this description. That means it is a pre-cooked buffet style breakfast. The worst example of an American breakfast. American breakfast A hotel breakfast that includes most or all of the following: two eggs (fried or poached), sliced bacon or sausages, sliced bread or toast...
